“ This is our favorite spot in all of Park City! We discovered it during our stay and loved it so much that we returned two nights in a row! The service was outstanding, even though the restaurant was bustling both times we visited. We arrived early to get on the waitlist and enjoyed drinks at a nearby bar while we waited. The quality of the meat was exceptional. My fiance and I are huge fans of shabu and can be quite picky, but this place exceeded our expectations. The meat was top-notch, and the broth was so flavorful that I found myself drinking it straight—something I’ve never done before! The selection of sauces was the perfect finishing touch. Although it was busy, it wasn’t overly loud, and the establishment was very clean. It’s the ideal place to unwind after a long day in the snow! We had Rafa as our server both nights. Great conversations and experiences with him. We can not wait to go back!! ”
“ Food and service were great. The husband and wife owners were sweet and accommodating. The husband was very patient explaining everything, including all the sauces. The interactive cooking element made for such a fun and unique meal, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. I’m so sorry I forgot the name of the lady at the host stand, but she was fantastic—she went out of her way to put the Rangers game on for my husband and me, walked us through the menu, and was constantly working the entire time we dined. Austin was incredibly warm, hospitable, and inviting, making us feel right at home. I never leave reviews, good or bad, but this couple is running their business the right way and deserves to be recognized. Wishing them nothing but success! Thank you for an amazing night. ”
“ We have enjoyed this restaurant three times now on our ski trips to Canyons resort. The food is fresh and plentiful; and my family has fun cooking in the hot pot. On our most recent trip, we were without a dinner reservation for New Year’s Eve in Park City (not recommended! Ha.) The host at Kuchu Shabu worked with us to use the waitlist to time a 6pm table for 7 people including 4 kids. Brenda was our server and she was beyond friendly and helpful accommodating the kids’ special requests (like specific veggies in their rice bowls) and keeping the adult beverages flowing. We will definitely be back when we are in Park City next and hope Brenda is there again!! ”

“ Wow. This place met my expectations and they were high due to the reviews! I almost went here again our 2nd night but I was so stuffed the first night, I needed to pace myself. We got the shrimp and flank shabu shabu. FANTASTIC. So much so, that I found myself looking for a hot pot place in Nashville! The servers were excellent and their recommendations were spot on. Cocktails were good too! The high reviews are not wrong. Get on the waitlist early. We tried reserving through Google and that's not actually a thing. Unless you go super early, plan to wait at least an hour to 1.5 hrs on a weekend night.Totally worth it! ”

“ What the actual Pho??!! So glad we quit walking by and ducked in for a fantastic early dinner. Started with the Pork Dumplings, Garlic Edamame, and some Lemongrass-Coconut Sake, perfect pairing. Then we each orderd the Pho. I had the Ribeye and my man tackled the Elk. Excellent balance of flavors, delicious broth, massive servings, and 5 sauces for dipping and topping. Excellent service, great vibe and cozy, trendy atmosphere. We can't wait to return and try the Ramen. Great dinner. ”
